num. adj. three . Usually spelt tri in the O. Ir. Glosses, but trí when absolute (see Thurn. Gramm. § 386 ). Archaic tre (Camb., etc.). Like does not prevent nasalisation of a following noun after pl. poss.: a tri nglantae their three cleanings, Corm. Bodl. 38.13 . See Ériu xi 148.9 .
